Club Fly-Out Day Trip19 February 2010

As we start to limp our way from the gloom that has been this winter we feel it is time to start organising our season of Club Fly-Outs to various Cities, Countries or land masses of interest!

Starting with a visit to Bembridge, Isle of Wight on Friday 26th March

Hopefully it will be a glorious spring day and we can enjoy visiting one of the many good pubs for some lunch on their patio! There will also be time to take a look around some of the beaches etc before heading back to Cambridge late afternoon. If you would also be interested in flying around the island to take in the sights of the coastline from above then let us know when you reserve your space and we can organise the occupants of the aircraft accordingly.

The plan is to meet at the Aero Club at 8:30am and complete the planning for the flight. The aim is to be airborne by 10:00am which gives us an arrival time in Bembridge at around 11:00am; just in time for a quick swim then lunch!!

We will advise you on the route the week before, so you can carry out some pre flight planning of your own.

Weather depending we think this will be a good one to kick off with so get your names down ASAP to avoid disappointment.
