Formation & Tail-chasing Adventure Flights for 2 people!

This is the ultimate adventure flight for 2 people!

Experience the thrill of flying two identical high performance Extra 200 aircraft in close formation, then indulging in the ultimate thrill of simulated close quarters dogfighting. Few get to experience flight in such an aircraft. Even fewer get to experience anything like this. This is a truly unique adventure!

These flights are specifically designed for two people. You will receive a full pre-flight multimedia briefing followed by a fascinating instructor brief which will outline the basic priciples of close formation flying and what your flight will consist of. Both you and your fellow participant will start, taxi and take off in formation before your instructors demonstrate formation basics and some individual aerobatic moves. Then, you will re-join formation and commence the chasing! You will take turns to both run and chase before returning to the airfield for a low level run in and break over the runway!

As with all of our adventure flights, you do not need to be a qualified pilot. Anyone can enjoy this experience subject to our usual Terms & Conditions

• £180.00 Per person (2 participants required)

Each experience will last approximately 2 hours consisting of pre & post flight briefings and around 50 minutes flight time.

Once payment has been made, we will send you a personalised voucher for your Formation Adventure Flight, valid for two people. You may also pay individually if prefered.

Q: Which aircraft will I fly in?
A: You’ll both fly in our High performance Extra 200 aerobatic aircraft.

Q: Will get to fly the aircraft myself?
A: Yes, once both aircraft are airborne your instructor will demonstrate the controls and allow you to try for yourself. If you have previous flying experience you may also try some formation flying.

Q: Can I take photos?
A: Yes, of course you can!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day?
A: If the weather prevents your flight from taking place, we can rebook your flight for another convenient date.
